WHEN Myreek and Xavier matched on Tinder, sparks flew, but the relationship wasn't a straightforward one. Xavier told Love Don't Judge, "I was straight until I met my fem boy. I never saw myself dating another man - meeting Myreek, it really made things clear, the more I spoke to him." Myreek - who is a big fan of make-up and wigs - is often mistaken as being trans, but he says it's not the case. "I love women, but I personally don't identify as a woman. That is really hard for a lot of people to understand, just because of how I present." Online, the pair are often scrutinised over their relationship. Myreek admitted, "The judgement that we faced was cruel. People who just didn't understand that we loved each other for who we truly are." In this episode of Love Don't Judge, Myreek's friend, Kahlen, will be revealing his thoughts on the couple.

I was straight until I met my femboy
0:02
People think I'm trans, but I promise you, I'm just a femboy
0:06
People would say things like, he should really be with women, he don't even know, he's being tricked
0:12
True. Is that a man? You're going to burn in the lake of fire
0:18
Ooh. Oh my god. Today my friend Colin is coming over to discuss how he felt about our relationship, and he will definitely not hold back his opinions
0:30
I'm Xavier. This is my partner, my read. And I was straight until I met my film boy
0:36
We met on Tinder. It was a thirst trap. You were shirtless
0:40
And I was just like, who is that? Swipe right. Thank you, Lord
0:45
That's mine. And he had his makeup done. He had his wig. He really cared himself
0:51
I started doing makeup when I went over a friend's house. And she kind of just had everything laid out
0:56
and my biggest thought was, can I play in your makeup? And I just never let go of it
1:04
It's gorgeous, just adds a little bit of pop. And this can also be used as a little bit of a highlighter
1:10
Now we just gotta do the other side. Adding a little bit of shimmer goes a long way
1:18
My sexuality before meeting my week, I would say I was straight
1:22
I was attracted to only females at the time. A lot of confusion, a lot of questioning myself in the mirror
1:29
and then, you know, meeting Mayrik. It really made things clear the more I spoke to him
1:36
I never saw myself dating another man because all my life I was taught to be straight
1:45
I would describe my sexuality as gay. I love being a homosexual
1:50
There was no closet for me, it was rhinestones and clear. The judgment that we faced when starting our relationship was cruel people who just didn understand that we loved each other for who we truly were Someone said why is he with a very feminine man Why does he just get with a woman How the can a man feel comfortable kissing another man
2:16
Gotta feel weird. How about this one? You're going to burn in the lake of fire. Ooh
2:23
Oh my God, people. So they both are boyfriends in the relationship
2:28
question mark. That's a man. I'm like, who knows? Wow. That's something that we did not know
2:34
Oh my God. Thank you for finally telling me. Oh my God. I didn't know
2:38
I'd never known. A misconception that a lot of people make about our relationship is that I want to be a woman
2:48
You're insane. I love women, but I personally don't identify as a woman
2:55
And that is really hard for a lot of people to understand just because of how I present
2:59
I started dressing more feminine February of 2022. It was something that I really enjoyed
3:08
It just was a freedom that I never knew I needed. Just because I dress feminine also
3:15
like I still identify as a man. Now I just want to show this one out
3:20
because this one means a lot to me because this was my first time seeing Beyonce
3:26
and going to her cowboy career counselor. My friends were more supportive in the beginning
3:32
My family, on the other hand, though, I couldn't go to certain family events, you know, dolled up
3:38
or I couldn't go to certain places, you know, it was rough
3:42
The beginning was really rough. But overall, I think we've now come to a point where they accept me for who I am
3:51
So the wig that I have on now is my favorite one. It's a curtain vein wig
3:58
And then another wig that I have that I also really love. I first started wearing wigs around the time that I did the Bob Marley movie premiere for Black TikTok
4:09
It was my very first wig ever I always wanted long beautiful hair So wearing wigs is just a really good way of me being able to express exactly what I always wanted to express which is the hair toss and
4:24
you know, the grandiosity of it all. The judgment makes me feel, it hurts because I'm a human being
4:33
but I look at it, the bigger picture, you know, people gonna always judge me regardless
4:37
The judgment makes me feel sad, but sad because there's a lost empathy within humanity, and people are cruel for no reason
4:51
Today, my friend Colin is coming over to discuss how he felt about our relationship, and he will definitely not hold back his opinions
5:01
My name is Colin. I've been friends with Myreek for a while
5:05
I hid the relationship from my family because I was scared to completely embrace the fact that I was in love with a man
5:16
They knew that I liked men, but I never told them about my relationship. The biggest fear was losing family for being who I am
5:24
When they found out I was dating a man, they were very surprised. Because my whole life, they really believed that I was just going to be this straight guy
5:33
you know, so for me to come out of nowhere and I was like, boom
5:37
I'm gay, boom, I have a boyfriend. For a man so masculine
5:42
to have, to be a homosexual, that surprises everybody. What did you think when
5:49
we first got together? You know how they're dating this in the Atlanta show
5:54
Accurate. So I didn't know what to think. It was just more like, I mean
5:58
the thing is you really like him, so at the end of the day, you know, if you like it, I love it type of vibe
6:03
So, but it was like, you know, I wasn't sure, only just because Atlanta though
6:08
Like that's no reason. Did you ever expect me to date someone like Xavier
6:14
I never had an expectation for who you were gonna date, but I do feel like we both know
6:19
like being in this community that like there lots of different spectrums of things and et cetera So it not that I like didn expect it I think it was just not as common you know within the queer community I think like the fact that you are doing that is you are I would say is the word anomaly like just not the common
6:38
So I think it's just more like that. That's how I view it. I just think it's a beautiful thing that, you know, Xavier, that you are being yourself
6:45
So Xavier, did you ever imagine that you would date another man? I was taught for so long my whole life to just like women, get a wife, get kids
6:55
There was just something within me that wanted to break out, you know. I was in the closet, basically
7:01
So it wasn't until I found myself, that's when I found my reed
7:05
So, Kyle, what do you think about our relationship now? I f***ing love it, b***h
7:12
Because the thing is, like, I didn't know what was going to happen. you never know what's gonna happen
7:18
it is so crazy to see it transform into this it is so beautiful and like I said
7:23
it literally makes me feel like inspired cheers you know what I'm saying
7:29
I love you too alright y'all see ya bye what I love most about Xavier
7:39
is his heart he is one of the most kindest intentional people
7:44
What I love about my rake is, I would say also his heart
7:49
He's courageous. He's thoughtful. His love. He will never give up on you
7:55
I never had that in my life. Do the people that judge us go to hell
8:01
I'm kidding. I would say we don't care about your judgment. It's not about you
8:07
This is our world. You're just living in it
