9.93 for Kevona Davis! ! ! ! , wow . . . wow. . . . wow . . . . . even though the wind was over the allowed limit, such a time with a supporting 2.4 meter per second wind is NOT too much. The time by the former Edwin Allen star must be deemed as a huge step in the right direction.
The college women's 100-meter final at Saturday's (15 April) Tom Jones Memorial Invitational Meet in Florida was a thrilling race, with some impressive performances from the athletes, mainly from Julien Alfred and Kevona Davis.
Julien Alfred from Texas took first place with a blazing time of 10.72 seconds, aided by a tailwind of +2.4 m/s. Kevona Davis from Texas finished in fourth place with a time of 10.93 seconds,
