Sometimes the best way to increase swingweight... is by making the grip lighter. Many golfers assume the only way to increase swingweight is by adding lead tape or heavier weights to the clubhead. While that certainly works, it isn't always the best solution. For this build, the amount of weight required at the head would have significantly changed the club's feel and performance. Instead, we achieved the target swingweight by installing Winn DriTac Lite grips. By reducing weight at the grip end, we were able to increase the club's effective swingweight while preserving the head's original characteristics. The result?
