Hey guys, today we're going to be talking about the best Samsung TVs to buy in 2025
0:04
We've got all the flagships lined up. We got QD OLED, 4K mini LED TVs, 8K mini LED TVs, and of course, lifestyle TVs, all right
0:14
here in this video. So let's get into it. We're going to start right here with the Samsung S95F QD OLED TV
0:21
Now following the S95D from last year is no small order, but the S95F has some upgrades
0:28
that hopes to give Samsung more cred in the OLED world. The S95F upgrades from a 144Hz refresh rate
0:35
to a 165Hz refresh rate right on par with the interest we're seeing in using OLED TVs
0:41
as gaming PC monitors. So that's good, but otherwise, the S95F features Samsung's upgraded third-generation EL panel
0:49
and the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor. This TV also features an upgraded version
0:54
of the glare-free OLED treatment that first debuted last year. I love it
0:59
I love that TV manufacturers are even copying Samsung with it. And even with all this lighting in here
1:05
the colors look great. The contrast is about as good as you can ask for
1:09
but we actually have a few benchmarks that give a bit more context on the performance and picture quality
1:15
I'll try to keep these benchmarks simple and standard across the rest of the TVs you'll see in this video
1:20
So first, in terms of picture accuracy, we measured a Delta E at 1.2
1:24
and for context, anything under two is really good. The brightness is also really good
1:29
like really, really good. For HDR in a 10% window in filmmaker mode
1:34
the S95F measured over 2100 nits. That's honestly super impressive. We also got a near perfect coverage of the color space
1:42
So overall, the S95F is shaping up to be one of the TVs to beat this year
1:47
One more thing I really like about the S95F is that it has the One Connect box You guys are probably sick of me talking about the One Connect box at this point but I like that Samsung uses it on OLED You can enjoy this really thin
2:01
clean look while having the convenience of offloading all the ports to somewhere a little
2:05
bit easier to access. Next up, we got the Samsung QN90F Neo QLED or mini LED TV, and I actually did
2:16
a face-off specifically of this TV versus the S95F. It's going to be on this channel if it's
2:23
not already, so make sure you go check that out. But this is going to be Samsung's flagship 4K
2:28
for 2025. And what you're going to experience here compared to the other flagships in the set
2:34
is this glare-free technology. We're seeing that throughout Samsung's lineup, but also the most
2:39
size flexibility. We're starting down at 43 inches and going all the way up to 115 inches
2:47
Just like the S95F, the QN90F has the NQ4 AI Gen 3 processor and the upgrade to the 165Hz
2:57
refresh rate standard. Many LED TVs are on the up and up in terms of popularity and there is a good
3:04
reason why. Let's look at the test results that we pulled from the QN90F. For the QN90F, we've got
3:12
an accuracy score of under 2 as well, and for HDR brightness in that same 10% window, also just over
3:19
2100 nits. So the S95F and QN90F are pretty much neck and neck in that regard. Again, going back to
3:25
everything I was saying about OLED, specifically QD OLED, really closing the gap in performance
3:30
We do see slightly worse color coverage, closer to 93%, but that doesn't worry me too much until we can test this in the lab
3:37
For all intents and purposes this is the mini LED TV in Samsung 2025 TV family that you going to want to take a look at But believe it or not there is a step up 8K TVs tend to be pretty polarizing but Samsung QN990F Neo QLED 8K TV might just change your mind
4:01
With the 990F, you're going to see a lot of the features I've already discussed with the OLED and
4:06
the 4K, including the glare-free display, the AI processing, but of course, upscaling is going to
4:12
be the big story here. So if you want to enjoy content, especially on those larger screen sizes
4:18
that are upscale properly, there is a lot of reason to like 8K. Now the availability of content is
4:23
still very limited, so I'm not saying that this is the year that you need to buy an 8K, but our
4:29
performance results are pretty interesting. Looking at the QN990F8K, a bit lower down in some of our
4:36
categories actually. We measured 1400 nits in the same 10% window in HDR, but a solid 95
4:42
coverage of the color space. If you guys have seen my videos before, you know I can kind of be
4:48
a frame TV hater, but it looks like I'm going to have to throw that all out the window with the
4:53
Samsung Frame TV Pro. It's pro because the performance is more in line with Neo QLED or
4:59
mini LED TVs. This single-handedly fixes the biggest drawback of previous frame TV models
5:06
which was picture performance and quality. Let's look at the numbers. These were the results I was
5:11
probably most curious to see. I wasn't expecting anything like with the S95F or QN90F, but I was
5:18
excited that the Frame Pro is going over 1000 nits peak brightness in HDR. That's such a huge
5:23
improvement from the 2024 frame that hardly reached 600 nits. It also has pretty complete
5:29
color coverage. The only big downside we saw, and honestly, I think this is something we'll need to
5:34
retest is an incredibly poor lag time of over 30 milliseconds I haven mentioned that for the other TVs because Samsung sets are usually all so good under 10 milliseconds as standard which is you know very important for gaming So again I going to have to double check these when we get this one into our own lab Remember with the S95F OLED TV I talked about the
5:54
One Connect box. With the Frame TV Pro, we have the wireless One Connect box, which is wirelessly
6:00
transmitting the picture at up to 4K 144Hz from a place that's a bit more easy to manage, so that
6:06
way you're not losing from the art on the wall effect. This is an art TV so I've got to talk
6:13
about the art of course. This is the Samsung art store. There are quite literally hundreds and
6:18
hundreds of options of art to explore, display. Most of them do come at an added cost. There are
6:25
a few free ones monthly but more or less expect to spend a little bit to have the art experience
6:30
you want. But what's new for 2025 is that the Samsung frame TV is no longer the only Samsung
6:36
tv with art store access other tvs i've talked about in this video will be getting the art store
6:41
but if you want to have the true art on the wall experience with the frame with the zero one connect
6:47
box you're going to be looking at the frame pro that said it's going to cost you blame it on
6:54
social media but the frame tv pro is the one that i'm most excited about for 2025 so i'm going to
7:00
end the video here so i can enjoy it just a little bit longer make sure you're subscribed to this
7:05
channel so you don't miss any of the samsung 2025 tv reviews right here on this channel
