Welcome to The Windows Club! We are here with a very interesting
0:13
video on enabling dark mode in Word,
0:17
Excel or PowerPoint. Previously, we have discussed enabling dark mode for
0:23
teams, OneNote and Outlook in separate videos.
0:29
The same has been explained in this article
0:32
on The Windows Club. Now, this is the light mode.
0:37
We have two conditions here. One is to enable the dark mode across all
0:44
devices connected with this particular Microsoft
0:48
365 Account. For example, I use three devices
0:52
associated with my Microsoft 365 Account. Enabling the dark mode for this account
0:59
would do so for all the devices. The second condition would be
1:04
to enable the dark mode for all Microsoft applications
1:08
across a single PC only this PC. Let us discuss the first case. To do so,
1:16
click on file, go to account in the Office theme section, change the
1:23
theme from colorful to black. This enables
1:28
the dark theme across all systems associated with this account.
1:34
Alternatively, you could go to file, select
1:39
options. In case, options does not appear you can click on more and then options.
1:47
In the general tab, under personalize your copy of Microsoft office,
1:54
change the Office theme from colorful to black and click on ok.
2:00
Now, let us verify whether the change has only happened with PowerPoint or has it
2:07
been replicated across other applications like Word and
2:11
Excel. I'll try to open a Word file.
2:19
Let us see whether it changed anything. Yes, Word has also replicated the dark
2:25
mode. Isn't this easy? If you have any doubts,
2:29
please let us know in the comment section. Do not forget to subscribe to
2:34
the channel. Thank you for watching this video
