Jamui Horror: Teens Returning from Coaching Chased, Girl Lifted & Groped on Camera – Who Failed These Kids?

A shocking video from Jamui, Bihar (19 September 2026) has gone viral showing a group of 6–7 men stopping two Class 10 students (a boy and a girl) on a scooter near Madwa Pahad after their coaching class. They were questioned about whether their families knew they were together, the boy was slapped and dragged, and the girl was groped, lifted by the waist/private area, and dragged while pleading with folded hands: “Please let us go, we promise we will never come back here again.” One of the men even recorded the entire episode. Police took suo-motu action only after the video exploded online on 21 September, registered an FIR under POCSO and BNS sections for outraging modesty, and arrested three people (more are being identified). Victims’ families had not filed a complaint earlier.
