welcome to another home organization
0:03
video today I'm going to be tackling my
0:05
kitchen pantry which as you can see is
0:07
very long overdue the last time I
0:10
organized my kitchen pantry was about
0:11
six months ago and in doing so I was
0:15
able to create a more efficient kitchen
0:18
pantry but it could definitely use some
0:20
updating and after a while we kind of
0:22
just started throwing things well
0:24
anywhere so I took out all of the
0:27
containers that I still had left over
0:28
purchased a few ones and washed them
0:30
down set them on the counter to dry and
0:33
then began to take everything out of the
0:36
cabinets most of what doesn't really
0:39
have a home is snacks so I am going to
0:42
start there this is about as much as I
0:45
could fit on the counters so I'm just
0:47
gonna go ahead and get right into it
0:49
here I'm just taking a lot of the small
0:52
chip bags that we had and putting them
0:54
into one container I used to use these
0:56
to put into my son's little lunch bag
0:59
when he was going to church camp in the
1:01
summer but because he's not doing that
1:03
anymore we don't need separate bags we
1:05
can just do one container of the veggie
1:08
straws and then when we are going
1:10
somewhere I can just put them inside
1:12
like a small reusable pouch or sandwich
1:15
bag or you know something like that but
1:18
this is going to get rid of you know
1:20
having just so much more stuff stuff
1:22
inside of the cabinet I really dislike
1:25
these tiny little bags we homeschool so
1:28
it's really no need for them in our home
1:31
um but you know every home is different
1:32
this works better for me so I'm gonna go
1:34
ahead and put this in the recycle bin
1:36
and I'm gonna do the same for these
1:39
tortilla chips we do have like taco
1:41
Tuesdays and Mexican nights sometimes so
1:44
we keep the tortilla chips
1:46
and then I love these cocoa roasted
1:50
almonds another one of my favorite
1:52
snacks so these are all basically snacks
1:55
that we eat regularly I only put things
1:58
that we regularly eat inside of
2:01
containers anything that's not like
2:03
something that I know for sure we will
2:04
be refilling I don't even bother to put
2:07
into containers because I know that
2:10
there's not really a good chance that
2:12
I'm going to be purchasing them again
2:14
but for the most part we pretty much
2:16
repurchase the same things over and over
2:19
again so I'm just organizing as much as
2:22
I can the last time I organized I didn't
2:25
have a home for everything there were a
2:27
few more things that I still needed you
2:29
know to find containers for so as I you
2:32
know organize and go along I'm always
2:34
trying to find ways to make it better
2:36
over time
2:38
[Music]
2:41
now don't judge me here with the instant
2:44
mashed potatoes my husband he has been
2:47
liking these but I can say that we
2:49
really haven't touched these as well in
2:51
the past few months so I think it's
2:52
about that time for me to throw them out
2:55
but I'm gonna put them in there anyways
2:57
and just see you know if we go back to
3:00
them because well it's really not the
3:03
healthiest version it's just the laziest
3:05
version try not to judge me if you can
3:10
so here is how everything is looking so
3:12
far that really didn't take me any time
3:15
at all I just went through and took
3:16
everything out of the boxes and put them
3:19
in a home the only thing I'll have to do
3:21
is label these so moving along to the
3:23
next shelf in the home by the way if
3:26
you're still watching thank you so much
3:28
for being here I am a stay-at-home mom
3:30
wife and Homemaker and I create
3:33
motherhood motivational homemaking
3:35
organizing decluttering cleaning and
3:38
homeschool videos of course I would love
3:41
for you to stick around and subscribe to
3:43
my channel I'm sure that you will find
3:45
something here that you enjoy and I post
3:48
once or twice weekly and would love to
3:51
connect with you so if you're enjoying
3:53
this video don't forget to give it a
3:54
thumbs up and I do hope that you will
3:56
subscribe and stick around as well
3:59
if you have not had the chance to see
4:01
any of my previous declutter videos I'm
4:03
going to link them below I have been
4:05
going on a mission to declutter
4:08
everything in my home and this is the
4:12
third project I think I've tackled I did
4:15
the entire downstairs the entire
4:17
upstairs now I am doing the kitchen
4:20
pantries and I want to next do my
4:22
basements and my garage I'm just trying
4:24
to make a clutter free more comfortable
4:26
living space for my family I just want
4:30
some stress-free living and I think we
4:32
all deserve that together so hey if you
4:36
two are on a project let me know below
4:38
if you're going through and just getting
4:39
rid of the mess and decluttering your
4:41
home I would love to hear about it it
4:43
has definitely been transformative and
4:46
the thing that I love most about it is
4:49
that I found a lot of things that I just
4:52
definitely didn't need but there was
4:54
someone else that needed it more so
4:56
being able to also help another family
4:59
and donate some things to like homeless
5:02
shelters and things like that all while
5:05
making my home a bit more livable and
5:08
stress-free has just been a pretty
5:10
amazing thing for me less is more and
5:14
one person's trash is another person's
5:17
treasure so two are really great things
5:20
to think of when you are decluttering
5:22
your home so here I am making a ton of
5:25
progress I'm almost done with like the
5:27
snacks and the pantries by the way
5:30
kitchen pantry organization also helps a
5:34
ton with grocery shopping because you
5:35
can actually see what you do need what
5:37
you don't need what you already have and
5:40
what you're running low on
5:42
without you know it all just being
5:44
hidden all behind like a bunch of men as
5:47
you can see based on how my pantry
5:49
looked before as opposed to how it looks
5:52
now I can actually see everything now
5:54
this looks a ton better and oh my gosh
5:57
it helps so much with my anxiety I am
6:01
always in the kitchen I'm a homemaker I
6:03
spend a lot of time in the kitchen but
6:05
if it's not you know clean or it's Heidi
6:08
cutter free and efficient I'm just I'm
6:11
not I'm not gonna be happy there okay
6:13
I'm not gonna be a happy Homemaker and
6:14
here on this channel we're all about
6:16
happy homemaking so I'm gonna move along
6:19
to my spice cabinet the goal in the long
6:23
run is to purchase like all of the same
6:27
type of spice cabinet containers and
6:29
always refill it with the things that we
6:31
use the most but I'm not there yet but
6:33
that is definitely on the list for a
6:34
future project until then I'm just
6:37
trying to separate them and organize by
6:39
type the prices that we do use and then
6:42
put them on like a turning spice trays
6:45
or you can really put anything in here
6:47
condiments beauty products whatever you
6:49
feel I have a few of these in my linen
6:51
closet as well but I purchased these
6:53
from shine and they were only three
6:55
dollars each so yeah I bought about
6:58
maybe nine of them I mean they were
7:01
three dollars and they work just fine so
7:03
definitely check out I think it's Sheen
7:06
I know it's Shane but for some reason I
7:08
like to say shine check it out for your
7:10
home organization needs sometimes you
7:13
hit and sometimes you miss so I prefer
7:15
Amazon but these here are definitely a
7:18
hit
7:18
when purchasing Products off of Sheen
7:21
just make sure you always look at
7:22
reviews photos in the size dimensions of
7:25
whatever it is you're shopping for and
7:27
looking for to make sure it's the proper
7:29
size and that is going to hold up to the
7:31
quality of product that you are looking
7:33
for but here's how it's looking a ton of
7:36
a lot better both the spice cabinet and
7:38
the kitchen pantry and I am very much
7:42
satisfied so make sure that you do
7:45
subscribe and hit the notification Bell
7:47
so that you'll be notified with my next
7:49
home organization video or just a stick
7:52
around and see a day in the life or a
7:55
motherhood and homemaking video again I
7:57
post once or twice weekly and I would
7:59
love to have you here I hope that you
8:00
enjoyed this video and that you found it
8:03
to be helpful and motivational thank you
8:05
again for being here I truly appreciate
8:07
you and that will be all until next time
8:10
happy homemaking
