Hyundai's 2023 Palisade, the brand's contender in the expanding mid-size SUV marketplace has been modestly revised for 2023 and now includes a new off-road XRT model as well as the luxurious calligraphy

XRT is a new model aimed at the off-road lifestyle. For all models, rear overhangs are now a bit shorter, the front substantially longer

which delivers a longer, fuller, volume hoodline. Also there are new 18 and 20 inch alloy wheels available

XRT adds unique dark finish 20 inch wheels, a more rugged appearing front and rear fascia

Signature front LED lighting is vertical and connected. Vertical LED taillights with inner accent lights, echo front lighting design

and a wide skid plate with an integrated tow hitch cover accent the low center of gravity

Calligraphy, Palisade's luxury flagship delivers Napa Leather, an ergo-motion massaging driver's seat, extended ambient lighting, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a phone in your pocket, unlock, and drive experience

Hyundai's Smart Sense Safety Suite includes advanced features like rear cross-traffic and blind spot warning, smart lane following, and forward collision avoidance assistance

That forward collision assistance looks into intersections either left or right turns assists in avoiding oncoming traffic and can assist in evasive steering

Lane change assist responds to vehicles cutting in ahead of you. It can change lanes automatically and may even shift positions if a nearby vehicle moves

into your lane. use premium materials. Like calligraphy's Napa leather seat, its ergo motion seat will move

its bolsters to grip you tightly when driving at high speed. Second row seats may be ventilated

and third row seats, while somewhat small for adults are heated and not too confining for modestly

long trips. All models provide Apple Car Play or Android Auto and offer Verizon in-car hotspots

There are multiple USB charge points and 12 volt power outlets for all of your devices

Every model comes standard with most of the advanced safety features we described and the limited and calligraphy have dual pane sunroofs and adjustable heads displays

With the multiple drive mode every Palisade offers, switching from smart to sport or comfort

eco or snow, the instrument panel display changes radically. Of note, we found the center console easy to use with convenient buttons and knobs
