So next up on our Living Well for Less series, lifestyle. Everything from getting a haircut

visiting the cinema, going to festivals and even a night out. We want to figure out the

best way to make the most of our money whilst living well for less. My name is Tovar and welcome

back to The Hack. Cinema. Now we all love a good movie so it'd be great to know which cinema gives the best

bang for your buck. Now I've done some research and compared four different cinemas along with

their prices. Views, Odeon, Cineworld and Picturehouse. We've picked a recent movie

Top Gun Maverick and we've had a look across all cinemas. In Cineworld it would cost you $14.99

for a standard adult ticket. In Picturehouse it's £13.80. In Odeon it's £8.00 and in View

$6.99. Now of course this is still all dependent on the location of the cinema. Some areas have

cheaper prices and other areas more expensive prices now I have heard of the

most cheapest cinema being in Peckham Peckhamplex and apparently the price for

that is £5 I've never been so I'd love to explore it let's go

all right here we have it we're in Peckham and it's written in bold letters 4.99 every single day

how about that let's head in and check it out I have heard some horrid stories about it

people probably exaggerate that's what I'm hoping because the stories I've heard

Now of course you can also make use of their membership cards where you get unlimited movies

for a fraction of the price it would otherwise cost if you paid for them individually

At Odeon a movie costs £8. Their membership is £14.99 so for the price of two movies you can watch a movie every

single day for the whole month that seems like a pretty good deal or you can just call a friend

that has a membership and just ask them to book you a ticket let's give it a go

Basically I just cancelled it. You cancelled it? What? I wish I could get a friend to do it again

Oh wait, so you've got a friend that's got a membership? Okay

And she can book me a ticket? Yeah. Alright, okay. Okay, nice one

Alright, so I just stopped off at Burger King to grab a quick meal

Now when I walked in, I looked on the menu, I felt like getting some vegan nuggets and

plant-based waffle. 20 nuggets about £5.39. Now I was about to order but

wait hold up, let me have a look on the app and see if I can get any discounts

Now I had a look and found an offer for 20 nuggets for £3.99. It doesn't

require me to do much but just open up the app and show it to them. So plant-based

waffle on the menu is about £7.49. Now I looked on the app and managed to get it

for £4.99 so altogether a meal that would have cost me £13.39 cost me £9.48 saving me £3.91

making that extra effort to do some research and find authors that help you save money and live well for less So I going to enjoy this meal and then crack on with the video

So now another essential part of our lifestyle is our appearance with haircuts being a big pot

Now this can cost from £10 to £20 and more, with the average being about £15, which is what I pay for my haircuts, or what I used to pay for my haircuts, because recently I've taken matters into my own hands in order to save some money

So if the average haircut costs 15 pounds and you have two haircuts in a month every

two weeks, that's 30 pounds. So we say 30 pounds times 12 months

360 pounds. Now the average life expectancy is 72 years so 360 times 72

£25,920 is what you spend on haircuts in your lifetime. This is a deposit on a mortgage

This can buy you a car. This can do a lot in your life

And once I realized that I said nope I'm not having that

£70 a clipper cost. Now if we minus that from our £25,920, we get £25,850 worth of saving

in your lifetime. Seems like a good deal to me. Of course you might have concerns about

messing your hair up and by all means, Rome wasn't built in a day. So you will have a

few dodgy haircuts. But after a while, you slowly learn how to cut your hair, you learn how to shape

it up, and then in the long run, you're saving yourself a whopping amount. And from there, you

can even cut your children's hair, cut your friend's hair, and even streamline it into a business where

tickets going for 80 pound and Sunday tickets going for 40 pounds now if you

have a look on other websites say discounted websites like wildchair and

the rest Saturday tickets on there cost you 44 pound and Sunday tickets 29

pounds saving you a lot of money you're very welcome right so I've been meaning

to fix my smile recently to get braces so i walked into smile direct club in the shopping center

and had a consultation with them and the prices came up to 1539 pounds now that sounds like a lot

but to fix your teeth really you'd pay anything wouldn't you instead i thought okay let me hold

on a bit let me have a look online and see what other deals i can find lo and behold

just saying if you look around you'll find better deals so as you can see
