Selling Rare Coins & Antiques - Day 2

I need to think of more creative, inventive ways to make this money

This is day two of turning a thousand pounds to a hundred thousand pounds

So far, we are down to 990 pound and the lottery we played came back as a no bueno

So today we're going to focus on rarity, rare, precious, wanted items

So we're going to do coins and we're going to do antiques. So now the last series I did, Broken Lockdown, I saw a few comments from you guys saying

Some of those coins you've got on the table are worth more why didn't realize until after the series

so I did some research and found that 50p's have rare coins and two pounds have rare coins a

thousand pounds for a 50p coin a thousand five hundred pounds What what the heck what is this What

Look if this is true that I only need ten of these like what

I don't know about that one all right, so the rare coins that seem to be selling are

are the brexit ones um benjamin bunny and like just any other random peter rabbit so any random

coin that isn't in circulation so i'm going to take 50 pound out of our 990 pound go to maybe the

corner shops or the bank or the petrol station and change them into coins into 50ps so

50 pounds and 50p is a hundred 50p. So out of 150p, surely I should be able to find

a few rare coins, right? Okay. That's what we're gonna do today

After that, we'll focus on antiques. I was wondering if I could change this for 50p coins

and then Paddington Bear and then Paddington Bear, we've got two different types of Paddington Bear

and then we've got another one so this, I'm very happy about this

these are like the standard okay so first we'll start with the Olympic boxing gloves

what oh come on wait so Olympic boxing glove is going for one pound something or two pounds

Something the most you can get it for is seven pounds. So people who's gonna get that when it's down here for one pound so

but that's that's all I can find I can't find any other ones imagine in just this

quite alone I've got 231 pound just by finding this hmm okay Benjamin bunny

very rare Benjamin bunny 249 pounds then you've got other people selling it for

149 200 100 99 195 so it's not it's not like a sturdy this is how much it's worth

yeah it's just it's a bit so if benjamin bunny is worth 249 pound then technically we have 500 pound here but

there's people selling it for less. So we'll see how much we can get for them

War hero 50 P coin 60 pound 10 pound why is ebay like this Paddington bear 400 pound 150 pound 130

pound at this rate it will probably take me three and a half months to get to a

hundred thousand but imagine doing this every day finding four coins four rare

coins you take like a hundred pound you go and change it into coins you get the

rare ones you return the money and then the rare ones you get you sell it for

like two hundred and forty pound each four that's a thousand pound a day you

do that for 30 days that's thirty thousand pounds you do that for three

and a half months there you have your hundred thousand but that that that that's that's too long

we need a two a shortcut someone can make a day job out of this just fighting rare coins

but um i need to i need to put the thinking hat on and think of more

creative ways to make a hundred one hundred thousand pounds i'm gonna have to buy buy something

and sell it sell it for more buy something else sell it for more buy something else sell it for

more antiques all right here we are the junk shop so we're gonna look around and try and find some hidden gems

or some antiques that we can possibly sell for more Okay, so right now, I'm just looking for anything that stands out

as valuable or an antique or something that could be worth a whole lot more

I automatically associate things in a casing as more valuable

Do you know if any of these are antiques

What are you looking at I trying to Some things are antiques and some things are not Oh which ones are antiques Well it just depends what you looking at really

You need to do a bit more research because you could end up buying something, which is just reproduction or something

But antique basically is meant to be a hundred years old or more. Hundred years old or more, okay

So we're gonna look for dates and then that would narrow it down

it's hand cargo so that alone puts some worth to it right

it's nice and made though it's a hand beaten one by the looks of it

so they'll have a sort of press and then they'll beat it

oh they beat the press into it they'll beat the pattern into it then they solder it together you see

So I've just come from the junk shop and I've just walked in and I just found another rare

50p coin I've never seen before. Hey, we're having a lucky day today

Alright, so the 50p I found on the floor is worth 1,000 pound, 600 pound, 400 pound

Now with the flask, I've been trying to find similar ones online to get like a price estimate

but I can't find any. So I found an antique shop online that can appraise it and then send you

however much it's worth. Sell antiques for cash. How it works. They send you a pack, you post it to

them and then our experts appraise your item and call you with a cash offer so this this is what

we're going to do all right now so far today i've spent 34 pound 30 pound on a flask and 8 50p coins

so that's four pound but i'm super confident that i'll make that back just on the coins alone

because some of them are worth 250 pound so i should get a fair amount for eight of them

okay so i'm gonna stick the coins on ebay and start making some money off those

so we do have some potential but they're coming in like little drops little trinkets so hopefully

the rest of the week we can open up the floodgates and then it just starts flowing in but yeah we're

making progress so far so i can't complain right this is day two and we're down to 956 pound on our
