My air fryer is getting old so it's time for an upgrade and this is going to be the 12 quart air fryer that Chef Man went ahead and sent to me
0:06
So I'm going to do a quick unboxing and go ahead and test this out to see how well it works. So right here we're going to have a quick start guide and a plastic baggie
0:15
Some metal components. The handle. And finally the air fryer itself. And this thing is massive
0:21
It takes up a lot of space. It's a good weight and it's going to be a lot bigger than my old air fryer as you see here
0:30
Right here we're going to have the tray and three wire trays
0:34
Now there's going to be three different sections and right here is going to be the removable
0:38
drip tray that can go at the bottom. And now before I go ahead and actually go ahead and test out the air fryer, I also want
0:46
to go ahead and show the spit tool and the spit forks
0:50
So to go ahead and actually install these I just have to go ahead and unscrew a little bit and then just push that through
0:54
And now there's going to be these grooves that will go ahead and just fit onto it and then when I go ahead and tighten it it will prevent it from coming loose
0:59
And then this can be placed on the inside just like so
1:03
And this is also going to go ahead and rotate. So on the left side over here, this is going to spin and rotate
1:08
whenever you go ahead and click the button. So that's pretty cool. But I'm not going to go ahead and roast the chicken today
1:13
I just going to air fry two chicken breasts And so I going to use the wire cooking rack and a parchment paper right on top And so right here I have seasoned chicken And here both pieces so I go ahead and just put that in the center
1:28
And I can close this up. There's also this sticker on top that can be removed
1:33
And then when I go ahead and plug it in. And so it immediately goes ahead and turns on and does that beep
1:38
And right here we can see it's set to air fry. But I can also go ahead and move it to bake
1:42
or dehydrate and as you saw the icons also went ahead and shifted because some things you can
1:48
dehydrate while other things you can only bake and in this case if I want to go ahead and bake fish
1:53
the presets automatically going to go ahead and be set to 350 degrees and the time is going to be 15
1:58
minutes but if I want to air fry fish it's going to be 350 degrees for 10 minutes and you can go
2:04
ahead and change it over here and see I can put 11 minutes and nine minutes and I can do the same
2:10
thing with the temperature and the temperature is going to be in five minute increments and this is
2:14
what the presets are going to be like for air fry for bake and for dehydrate and in this case i'm
2:20
going to go ahead and air fry chicken at 375 and as far as time goes 30 minutes is way too long
2:27
and put it for 12 minutes and over here i can also go ahead and change different things i can either rotate or not rotate In this case I turn it off And on the right side I can turn on and off the light So when I turn it on this is how it goes ahead and glows
2:44
And then when I turn it off, that's what it looks like. All right, so 12 minutes at 375
2:49
And right here, you can see two chicken breasts. So let me go ahead and start, and I'll be back in 12 minutes. Alright perfect so now it's done and I can go ahead and press stop
3:14
Oh that smells real good and here you can see what it looks like and now let me grab
3:24
the fetch tool and also like a little mitten to go ahead and hold the bottom
3:29
So now to actually get to this, all I have to do is just make sure these parts are pointing downwards
3:34
I can pull this and then with my mitten, just kind of hold it from the bottom just like so
3:41
Alright, so here's the finished product, here's the chicken. And now because I did put the parchment paper, it probably is going to be a little bit more
3:49
white on the backside But this is still going to go ahead and be cooked So for best results no parchment paper is required But as far as taste goes let me go ahead and see how this is
4:02
So it's all fully cooked as you see over here. And this is actually really, it's still juicy
4:08
Like here you can see I'm squishing it. And you can see some juices come out. So I'm pretty happy that it did go ahead and still sustain some juiciness
4:16
And now, taste test. That tastes like still juicy chicken so I'm pretty impressed by it
4:28
I think next time I can definitely just not use the parchment paper
4:33
The only reason I did it is because then I wouldn't have to clean the mesh tray
4:38
And as far as noise goes the air fryer was hovering in the high 50s and it eventually
4:42
reached 60 and 61 for a bit but then they quiet back down and then it got louder and
4:47
the cycle kind of continued a few times. Now one thing to note about this door is it's really tight that if I go ahead and pull it
4:54
the whole air fryer moves. So when trying to open it, I have to kind of pull it hard or just put my other hand and
4:59
then pull just like so. But that's just something minor. But yeah, if you're looking for a big air fryer that you can also go ahead and roast
5:05
your chicken and air fry a lot of things at once because there's a bunch of trays, definitely
