I just got the Kisori TurboGlaze 6-quart air fryer, so in this video I want to test this out to see how well it works
0:05
So the first thing I see is going to be this packet which has some paperwork. And then under that is going to be the metal tray which has some rubber feet at the bottom
0:12
And then finally the air fryer itself. So this air fryer is pretty big and to get the basket out there's actually going to be this button so you accidentally can't pull it out
0:19
You have to press it and then take it out. So this tray is really wide
0:25
It's not too deep, but it's deep enough for some stuff that I would put in here
0:29
For example, like potato wedges or some chicken or some vegetables. And then right here is that a crisp puree, which fits right on top like so
0:41
So here's our original air fryer. This is going to be the Crux and just comparing it side by side
0:46
The kasori is ginormous. Now this one's pretty good, but sometimes it just doesn't function well
0:52
And especially the space isn't too much. And this is pretty old
0:55
So this does have to be thrown out. and also it doesn't have that button just for safety
1:01
So you accidentally don't open the handle when you're pulling it. You know, you do have to press it
1:05
So this is a lot more spacious. And now let's go over some of the functions up top
1:10
So like most air fryers, there's no physical buttons on this. This is gonna be capacitive touch
1:15
And the first thing to do is to turn it on right over here and it beeps
1:19
And this is really easy to turn on and it's also very responsive
1:24
So there's a bunch of different controls over here. The ones I'd probably use the most just by the looks of it would be the quick
1:31
The turbo modes quick air fry roast broil or frozen and my most common one would just be air fry
1:37
Because again, I usually just put chicken in this But let go over the whole things for starters If we want to manually control it we take a look at the left side here for temperature And right now it set to 385 degrees Fahrenheit but we can adjust that and it goes in increments of 5 degrees
1:52
And I can also hold it. And let's see, okay, it goes as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit
1:58
And if I hold it down, it'll go as low as 300 degrees Fahrenheit
2:02
Now as far as the time, same thing before, we can do as low as a minute and it's going to be in increments of 1 minute
2:11
And then let's see how high it gets. Up to an hour. And I can also change these different settings
2:16
So if I want it to be preheat, and as you can see it also does adjust the temperature to reheat, dry, bake, proof, and warm
2:27
And then as you saw, the fan speed also adjusted. So it's going to be different fan speeds and then turbo mode is going to be the highest which is
2:35
going to be five so it'll you know heat up the quickest and it's going to be for air fry
2:39
roast, broil, and frozen. And the power it on of course just press the play button and it starts
2:45
cooking but I'll stop it for now and here we can see it's paused. And there's also this handy
2:51
sticker it comes with just to give us some recommendations for the settings such as for
2:54
french fries, chicken, beef, frozen seafood, and veggies. So this can be stuck right at the bottom
3:00
or on the side. And there's also this recipe book. But the cool thing is that we can also download
3:06
the app. It's going to be vSync. And then I added the device right here. But if you want to add it
3:11
manually, just press the plus button. And then it's going to add device, go to kitchen, and then
3:16
scroll down until you see the correct model for this, which is going to be the Kisori Turbo Glaze
3:21
six quart and there you can kind of see how the pictures look like So when I click onto air fryer we can see it gives me video recipes recommended for you And then here I can save some for my favorites
3:35
my recipes, a cooking chart and shopping list. But now let's get to the important part and actually use this
3:41
So again, open it up by pressing the button, pull this right out. And right here, I have some chicken
3:48
This is going to be seasoned already or marinated. And I love the fact that I have plenty of space to put not just two pieces, but I think I can probably fit like four or five
3:58
So this is only gonna be for me, but that's fine I'll just put as much as I can because either way I'm gonna eat this
4:04
All right, there it is. So I try to space everything out as much as possible Hopefully this isn't too overcrowded and I have about four and a half pieces in here. So now time to put this inside
4:17
Then press the power button and I'll stick just to air fry
4:21
Now I believe for chicken, the recommendation for this was about 15 minutes for chicken breast
4:26
So I'm going to actually up the time to, actually I'm going to put 12 minutes just because this is going to be the higher fan speed for Turbo Blaze
4:36
So I'll just leave it as is. And now press play and I'll be back in 12 minutes to see how this is
4:42
So this part is pretty cool because it actually shows a countdown timer of when it's going
4:50
to be done once it reaches under a minute. So let's see if it beeps. Yep
5:00
Everything goes quiet, silent, and all right, after three beeps, it stops automatically
5:04
So let me just stop it. And then here what the chicken looks like So this is 12 minutes at 380 degrees or 85 degrees I believe And now hopefully this is cooked But yeah let me take a bite out of this
5:22
So I'm going for the smallest piece right here in the corner. This one's easy to grab
5:33
And here's the inside. Now the good thing is the juice really remained intact, it's still nice and juicy inside
5:44
And it's like got like a nice crisp on the outside too. Definitely gonna be more crispy on this piece over here because it's thinner
5:52
But yeah, now let me get some other materials because I'm gonna make a chicken sandwich
5:57
Alright, this is perfect timing. The bread is just finished toasting. It's pretty hot
6:04
All right, so here we have some plain bread and now to make this meal a little bit more interesting
6:10
I'm gonna add some cheese and then some warm chicken on top Followed by some artichoke dip and I'm pretty hungry. So I'll just leave the other two pieces of chicken as well
6:18
All right, and just like that dinner is served But yeah overall, I'm pretty happy with this air fryer
6:30
I'm surprised that the 12 minutes was enough because in an older air fryer I used about 15 or 16 minutes to
6:37
Cook the chicken breast and this was quicker. It also tastes juicier
6:42
And also it still has some crisp to it. So I think that turbo blaze
6:47
Definitely made a difference for the efficiency for this air fryer But yeah, if you're looking for an air fryer relatively big one like six quarts, definitely check this one out by Kisori
