So Combo Proof sent me this universal car holder

So I want to do a quick unboxing and go ahead and set it up over here to see how well this works

So just opening it up, the first thing I see is going to be this baggie. And this is going to have the holder for the air vent

And then over here we're going to have another piece. And this is going to be the phone holder mount itself

And on the back side here, that's where it goes ahead and attaches to the other attachment. And then we're also going to have this piece

And this is going to go ahead and stick on to either the windshield or the dashboard

And again, here is where the phone mount will be attached to. And then we're also going to get a user manual and a thank you card from ComboProof

So the first thing I want to do is attach the air vent bracket to the air vent itself

And it's going to go this way. Now go ahead and just put it right over here

And now that it hooked onto the back, I can go ahead and turn this clockwise. And it'll go ahead and tighten

And there. So now it's not coming off anytime soon. And then the foam mount can be attached here

But I do have to go ahead and just loosen this piece up. Just like so

And then go ahead and press this in. And there. I heard the click. Now I can go ahead and tighten it there

Now it's nice and tight. And this is what it looks like. So overall, I'm definitely a fan of the look

I love the blue color. It looks real nice. And we got the logo in the center that says combo proof

And right here is going to be a textured rubber material just to go ahead and keep the back of the phone safe

And then same thing goes for the sides. This is going to be, it's going to be the same material except this one's not going to be too textured

Same thing goes for the other side. And there's also going to be two pieces for the bottom

And now to go ahead and open the arms up, all I have to do is just hold these two pieces together

just like that, and then it'll go ahead and slide in, and then when I want to tighten it, I just have to close it

and here you could hear it closing up And it also worth noting that this bottom piece can also be extended downwards just like that And now let me go ahead and see if my phone fits So this is going to be an iPhone 12 Pro Max and an OtterBox Defender case

I can just leave it there. Yep, it fits nice and comfy. And I can go ahead and lock it into place

And there it is. That's basically what I'll go ahead and see in the dashboard. And it's pretty easy to go ahead and just mess with it

Now I do want to go ahead and put this one on as well too. now since it's not really flat on my dash i think i'll go ahead and opt for the windshield instead

before this phone mount portion can just be placed right here i'll go ahead and push that in and i

I can go ahead and lock that and there. I can go ahead and just put my phone right here

and lock it in place and then kind of reorient it towards here or I can move it landscape

and it definitely does go ahead and fit pretty well. So overall setting up this combo proof phone holder was real easy

and I'm glad that it not only came with this suction cup but it also came with this clip here to go ahead and attach to an air vent
