Testing Out The Holdersafe Car Vent Phone Holder

So this is my dad's car and one thing he's missing is going to be a phone holder

So I'm going to upgrade his car and put this right over here next to this vent

And the phone holder comes in this nice little box. So let's see. And here's everything that comes in it

There's going to be the user guide, a warranty card, the handle for the vent attachment, and the phone holder itself

So here's the handle itself that attaches to the vent and this arm can rotate all the way around

And with this knob right here, I can either turn it counterclockwise and this will extend this hook out

or I can turn it clockwise and it'll tighten it up. And here's how the vent on my dad's car looks like

So this is gonna be a little bit oddly shaped. You could see it's circular over here and it's very wide

So I do have to increase this arm as much as possible. And if you're wondering on the make and model

well, this is a Toyota Matrix 2007. So this is currently turned all the way clockwise

which means this is as small as it gets. And I can turn it counterclockwise

and this hook will extend. And it actually extends out pretty far

So I do have high hopes that this is actually gonna fit in the vent yeah this is definitely gonna fit This is gonna be I don know maybe like an inch and a half or so And this hook will probably fit nicely into the vent itself So here what the vent looks like again All right so I messed up a

little bit, but now I have two hands free. So this is going to be a lot easier. And because of the

weird shape of this, I can't really hook it on to the center. So I'm going to try to hook it on to

the edge of it. Yeah, just like so. All right, so I got it all the way to the edge. And now I could

rotate this clockwise and it'll lock into place and the arm can't really turn. I have to actually

loosen this so I could turn the arm but I'll leave it. Yeah I'll leave it kind of like

facing upwards or so for now and let me actually move it like this and one thing I noticed

immediately is because of the way this vent is shaped and how it is well the arm doesn't really

need to rotate because I could just rotate it with the whole unit itself but now time to put

on this part and to do so this just has to be loosened and installed right over here on the

ball and right here you can get a better idea of what it's like so there that part is loosened

and this should easily attach like so and then I turn it clockwise or no counterclockwise to tighten this And I can kind of get whatever shape I want So I just leave it like that

And there. And one thing I forgot to mention about this is that there's actually a button over here at the back

So when I press it, the arms just slowly start to extend out

And then right here I have my phone. So this is an iPhone 16 Pro Max. And I have it extended as far as possible

And I can just push it in. And there. And one thing to note about this is, again, because of the arm, because of the vent, this is going to be able to be moved fairly easily like so

But I can try to adjust it by moving it downwards. And there, so I adjusted it so this time the arm is facing downwards

And here, I'll show you what I mean. So I'll press this button so I can remove my phone

And there, this arm is downwards. But yeah, that's how it looks like on this vent

But overall, this is pretty easy to install. I'm surprised it fits inside this car vent since it's like so big

but of course ideally you wouldn't want to use it on this Toyota Matrix you'd probably want to use it

on like some more modern cars with different types of vents so I actually check this out another car just so you could see what it looks like So now I in my mom car This is going to be a Honda CR And because the vents are going to be horizontal a lot more modern this is going to be

nice and sturdy. And I could just open this right up and then place my phone in here

And there, nice and tight. And I can swivel it side to side. Or with the arm actually

I can kind of like rotate it a bit yeah like that although I don't think that's intentional I think to

make it better just kind of loosen this part up there and I loosen it a bit too much and then this

can go all the way down like this and because the screen is in the way this can't really go all the

way down unless I force it but yeah I think I'll leave it like that and I can have it adjust the

arm more so like this so now the car or now the phone mount can be a little bit closer

just like that so when driving it'll be kind of like this instead of all the way up taking

up more space on the windshield but yeah that's a quick look at the car mount
