The void just came out with the LVAC 300 so let's check it out
0:07
Alright so inside of the box the first thing I see is going to be the instruction manual and
0:10
right here we have the handle attachment. Here's another attachment and here's the top part with
0:14
the buttons, the motor, and the dustbin. And underneath here we have the small head, the
0:19
large head, here's the charger, a nozzle attachment, a storage hook, and then the mounting screws
0:23
And here's another look at everything that comes inside that box. Alright so now let me show you
0:28
you how to put everything together because there's going to be a few ways to do this. Let's start with
0:32
the extension. So just grab this piece right over here as well as this piece and they attach together
0:37
like so. And you see there's going to be a hole right here. So once you press it in, it's going
0:43
to stay stuck in place and you can't take it out unless you stick something in here and pull it out
0:47
and you could probably put like a key in here and then just pull it out. Otherwise it's kind of stuck
0:52
in there like that. And then this can go right over here and it'll click on the place and to remove
0:56
this is pretty easy just press the button and pull out just like so and now for the bottom we
1:02
have two options we can either use the really long brush head just like so so this is going to be the
1:08
standard one I'm going to be using most of the time but to get to some tighter spots we can use
1:14
the smaller one and it fits just like so as well too the only difference is this one doesn't have
1:19
like the rotating head at the bottom so it just kind of stays like that rotates a little bit
1:25
differently with this. So that's kind of new. And then one more thing we can put on here is going to
1:29
be this crevice tool, just like so. And this is a very big extender. But if you don't want this
1:37
much space, you can remove the whole extender out. And then those three things that we just put on
1:42
this can just be placed like so. So now this is going to be much smaller to get into some tight
1:49
spaces. Or I guess if you want, you can just, you know, do this, although this will look
1:55
kind of funny. And then same thing goes with this other motorized head. Now it's like a
2:02
small vacuum for a kid. So before actually putting this to the test, I want to show you something about this motorized head And that how to actually open this up Because if hairs ever do get stuck in here you can remove this pretty easily because there a button right there Just press it and then this will rotate just like so And then it going to be pulled right out And I want to show you now just because
2:22
it's new and it's clean and this is as clean as it's ever going to be until I start using it
2:28
And if hairs ever get stuck, you can just pull it out. And notice that the brushes aren't just
2:33
brushes, but there's also some rubber here. So that'll probably help grip stuff better
2:37
and this can be placed right back inside. And the other thing too about this motorized head
2:41
is that you can just stand it up straight. So when you have the vacuum like this
2:45
it'll stand up on its own. And to get this to go down, you just put some pressure
2:49
and it goes back down and it closes because of this right over here
2:56
Just put some pressure and it stays just like that. And now here's a closer look
3:00
at the smaller motorized head. So it's going to be a lot different. But one thing it does have in common
3:04
is going to be that you can remove this here too. Just taking a look at the side, it's gonna be pushed like so and then pulled right out
3:13
and then we can clean these brushes and these rubber materials. And to put it back, just slide it right in place
3:19
Give it a little push. There. And then push this in and then rotate it and there, now it's locked
3:26
Alright, so with that out of the way, now time to test this out. But first let me also show you the top part and the cool thing that's different about this
3:33
one compared to the previous model is that when I turn it on we can actually see the battery percentage
3:44
And then I can also know which mode it's on. So the first thing I noticed about the LVAC 300
3:49
is how smooth this glides over wood. Now that's no surprise because it's just purely flat so this
3:57
This was easy picking up dust and a lot of pet hair for my cat because he sheds everywhere
4:05
Now for this I'm just using the level 1 setting since you don't need too much for this
4:10
But as I move my way to the carpet, this is where things need a little bit more suction
4:14
power so I move on to 2 which is going to drain the battery much faster than 1
4:21
And this carpet already looked pretty clean but it still picked up some extra stuff here and there moving to the kitchen This is where things can get more complicated because there not only a big rug there also table the bench and a bunch of chairs So I have to move this stuff out of the
4:36
way. Now I'm able to get some spots pretty easily but what about underneath? So this is why I like
4:43
this head is because I can just rotate it all the way downwards and I can go fully flat 180 degrees
4:49
basically and able to reach all the way to the back which makes it pretty easy to vacuum all
4:53
the way to the end so I'm not missing anything. And if I was missing something I can always go
4:58
down on all fours and just use that crevice tool to get the nooks and crannies but instead I use
5:02
this crevice tool for some other stuff. I used it in the kitchen around the edges where the tile is
5:10
and the wood also on the sliding door because there's actually a bunch of little rocks and
5:14
pebbles from I guess the outside and this also picks up stuff from windowsills pretty easily so
5:18
So I was able to do that pretty quickly. And by now, I'm a little under 50% battery life
5:23
But keep in mind, this started at 60% right out of the package. So after all that cleaning, it's time to empty out this canister
5:28
And here's what we have so far from the rug, from the wooden floor, and then from the tile
5:33
So to pop this open, on the side right here, hold the button. And just pop it out just like so
5:40
And at the top side, here's what we get. We get like a little filter. Actually a few, like two or three
5:46
And I'll put that back in there. And then at the bottom, we're going to have this button here
5:50
And then this is what opens the cap to get rid of all that gunk
5:54
And some of this is probably cat hair since we have a cat in the house. And there, that's about it
6:00
Of course, you can clean it even more if you want, but I'll just leave it as is for now. And to actually remove this part here, just turn it counterclockwise
6:07
And this comes right out. And here's what it is. So you could wash this out or just give it like a quick blow, click rinse, maybe with a towel
6:16
right now because this isn't too dirty, it won't be too hard to clean this
6:24
And then put it back clockwise and there, now it's good to go and use again
6:28
And so to put this canister back in, we just pop it in from the top, just like so
6:33
and then give it a push and it clicks right in So the last thing I wanna test out is gonna be this smaller motorized head because this is supposed to be made for pets like a pet brush kind of thing And the one I going to
6:46
use it for is going to be for this right here. This where my cat loves to sleep and a bunch of fur
6:51
always gets accumulated on this and just removing it is hard. So I kind of just use my hand like this
6:56
and it'll slowly come out. But yeah. And so since I just emptied it out there's nothing in here. So
7:03
yeah let's see how well this part works. For this time I went all the way to the max setting and I have 35% battery left
7:26
and this took out a lot of hair. Check it out. Look at that, look how much hair was stuck inside
7:33
this felt pad and it looks a lot cleaner than before and I tried to go in all sorts of directions
7:39
I went horizontal, vertical, diagonal, the other way diagonal and it did a pretty good job. And
7:46
another thing about this is going to be the battery. So it charges via this cable right here and the
7:50
cool thing about this is that you don't need to always have it like this and that's because the
7:54
battery is actually removable. There's this little latch at the bottom that I can just hold down
7:58
and then pull right out. So I can just put this in another spot to charge so I don't always have to
8:03
have the whole unit with me. And then when I want to put this away, instead of tucking it in the
8:08
closet, this can just be mounted with this piece, which is pretty easy. It's got two holes. It comes
8:13
with these two screws, so I got to find a place to put this. And then I can easily store it on the
8:17
wall just like so. So overall, I'm pretty happy with this cordless stick vacuum. And again, this
8:25
the Levoit LVAC 300. And the funny thing is, is I already have the previous model, the LVAC 200
8:30
and I can already see the differences. For starters, the suction power is going to be better
8:34
And the LCD is a pretty nice touch, so I don't have to guess what the battery life is by just
8:39
looking at the three indicators on the side, one, two, or three. It'll actually tell me a number
8:43
and I can just look right up and see the battery level. So if you're looking for a cordless thick
8:47
vacuum cleaner, that's pretty powerful, and as a pet brush as well too, definitely check out this
