So I currently use the DJI mic 2 and then here's what the microphone looks like
0:03
And it's currently clipped onto here. It's got that windscreen. But I end up getting this lavalier mic just so it looks a little bit neater
0:10
And it also helps especially if you're wearing like a big bulky jacket and you can't really clip it on like somewhere in the center
0:16
So here's what the package looks like. There's this little sticker at the bottom that just peels right off
0:22
And then I can open it up like so. And inside the box we get two things
0:28
there's like this instruction manual and then followed by the lavalier mic itself. So here's
0:33
the lavalier mic, here's the DJI mic so you can get a comparison of how big it is and one cool
0:38
thing that I noticed about this is the fact that you can rotate this so it makes it easier so when
0:43
I clip it down I can orient it you know to whatever orientation I have it and then this cable is
0:48
actually fairly short it's not the longest I've seen but that means you won't have some extra slack
0:54
when you actually go ahead and attach it to yourself. So in this case with my other lavalier
0:58
mic, I would put it sort of in the back. And I think, yeah, this definitely is enough room actually
1:02
to clip it on the back. So the way to go about this is with the mic right here, place it right
1:08
on top, just like so, and then clip it wherever you want. In this case, you know, I'll clip it to
1:12
the side, to the back, just so it gets out of view, kind of like that. And then this will go
1:18
right up my shirt just like this and then attach it to the top here And then I face the mic more upwards and so this way it get a more direct sound and then the cable looks pretty neat so you can see
1:34
much compared to something like this and now so you can actually hear what the sound looks like
1:38
I'm going to attach it to this microphone so this is currently about you know about a foot away from
1:44
my mouth so it's not too loud and now let me switch the mics off so this one's currently off
1:50
anyway and attach this one and by the way one thing i like about dgi is the fact that it already
1:55
comes with this magnet on the back so it just makes it easy to clip onto your clothes and anything
2:00
all right so the windscreen has to be removed first just like so and then up top that's where i put it
2:07
all right so now i should be fully all right so now the audio should be fully from the lavalier mic
2:18
and it might sound a little bit louder just because this is closer and I have the audio
2:22
level set to a little bit differently on my camera and then also let me unclip this
2:28
and then put it a little bit closer so now yeah it might sound really bad now because it's this
2:33
close to my mouth but normally it would be normally it would be this kind of far away so this would
2:39
be like what the normal audio level would sound like and I can also see it on the camera what the
2:43
level looks like so hopefully you got a good idea of what this sounds like attached to my dji mic
2:48
too. But yeah, that's a quick look at the DJI lavalier mic
