Oct 23, 2022
What does "Product Lifecycle" mean?
The phrase "Product Lifecycle" refers to a pharmaceutical product's whole existence as it passes through all of the different design, development, manufacturing, and distribution stages before it is regularly made available as a commercial product.
ICH Q10 (Pharmaceutical Quality System) defines 4 major lifecycle phases:
• Pharmaceutical development
• Technology transfer
• Commercial manufacturing
