Mississippi Sin Dip is a rich, creamy dip that’s perfect for gatherings. Here’s a simple recipe to get you started: Ingredients: 1 loaf of French bread (optional, for serving) 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 1/2 cups sour cream 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/3 cup chopped ham 1/3 cup sliced green onions 1 (4 oz) can green chilies, undrained 2 tablespoons chopped pickled jalapenos A few dashes of Worcestershire sauce Hot sauce (to taste) Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare the bread bowl (if using): Cut the top off the loaf and hollow out the inside, leaving about a 1-inch shell. Save the removed bread for dipping. Mix the dip: In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add the cheddar cheese, ham, green onions, green chilies, jalapenos, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Mix well. Fill the bread bowl: Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf. If not using a bread bowl, transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Bake: Wrap the filled bread loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for about 1 hour, until the dip is hot and bubbly. Serve: Serve hot with the reserved bread pieces, crackers, or vegetables for dipping.
