Garlic Butter Mushrooms
Ingredients:
1 pound mushrooms (button, cremini, or your choice)
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Mushrooms: Clean the mushrooms and trim the stems if needed.
Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted.
Cook the Mushrooms: Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to brown.
Add Garlic and Thyme: Add the minced garlic and thyme to the skillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is fragrant and the mushrooms are tender.
Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
