Ingredients:
Pastry: 1 sheet of store-bought shortcrust or puff pastry
Berries: 2 cups mixed berries (e.g., strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries)
Chocolate: 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks (54-56% cocoa solids)
Sugar: 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Cornstarch: 1 tablespoon
Lemon Juice: 1 tablespoon
Egg Wash: 1 egg, beaten
Optional: Demerara sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare Berries: In a bowl, mix the berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.
