All right, I wanted to answer this question with a video
0:04
The question is, how do I find the time to study during busy season
0:08
I'm really busy in busy season. My job comes first, but I would still like to study for the CPA exams if I could
0:17
So I think the answer to this comes down. Most people in busy season, assuming you're busier and you're in busy season
0:26
I think the answer or most people fall into kind of too
0:29
pathways so the first pathway would be is if you know deep down that you really don't have two
0:39
extra hours a day if you have to leave too early and you get home too late and that would just put
0:45
you over the top physically mentally or emotionally to try to wake up two hours earlier to study
0:53
or or at night you don't have the two hours to study now the reason I keep saying two hours is
0:59
because if you follow the study framework that we teach you or that you would learn in
1:04
the study hacks videos all you need is two hours a day with your main review course
1:09
your main study session only needs to take two hours a day and you can get enough done by following what you learn in those videos to and you be moving through new material faster than most people that are studying like four hours a day than normal way
1:26
So that's why I say two hours. But even then, if you are truly in a situation where deep down, if you're being honest with yourself, you don't think you could stick to that
1:39
And you know that you have some relief on the horizon. If you're going to have more time, things will slow down in April or May, a few months from now, whatever it is
1:50
then maybe you put off the full-on study program for a few months
1:54
Now, what you still can be doing to move forward and being better prepared once you do jump back into the full studying
2:01
is you can still be doing the mini sessions. You can listen to audio notes on your way to work whenever you're in your car
2:08
For most people that commute at least a half hour, that's an extra hour or even two hours a day
2:13
of just hearing the information being exposed to it, and that really pays off, even that all by itself
2:20
The next thing would be to read the review notes and do mini quizzes on the app
2:26
whenever you have three to five minutes throughout your day. On your lunch break, while you're walking across the hallway
2:33
or waiting for a meeting to start waiting in line at the grocery store or the bank whatever it is Whenever you would normally pull out your phone and look through social media for a minute
2:44
you replace that with reading the review notes or taking mini quizzes on the app
2:50
That makes an absolutely huge difference if you make it a habit and do it every day
2:54
I got to switch arms. My arm is like dying from holding this phone. Now the second pathway would just basically be the opposite of this
3:03
If you're really busy, but you know deep down that you can put together two hours a day
3:10
if you lay in bed at night and watch Netflix for an hour or more
3:14
if you scroll through your phone, if you read Reddit for an hour every night
3:19
you know, you could cut that out for a few months while you pass your exams
3:23
and wake up an hour earlier and do that two-hour study session in the morning
3:30
I do recommend doing it in the morning if at all possible. but it can be done at night if that works better for you
3:38
So that's basically the answer. If you know, if you're being honest with yourself
3:44
that you could organize the rest of your day a little bit better or more efficiently
3:50
to where you could find that two hours a day to sit with your review course and follow the study framework that we teach you in those videos if you can just find two hours a day you can still maintain a very effective study program throughout busy season and still be working towards and passing exams
4:13
so the idea is you do that that two hour main session and then you still do those mini sessions audio notes in your car read the review notes take quizzes all throughout the
4:23
the rest of your day in little five-minute chunks. It makes a huge difference, and that's why we have so many success stories posted on our website
4:33
So that's really the answer. If you know deep down that you just cannot handle even two hours a day, being completely
4:41
honest with yourself, and that's fine. Some people are in that situation. Then maybe you put off the full study program for a few months until things let up
4:50
On the other hand, even if you are busy, but you know that if you organized your day a little bit better, you could find two hours a day, then that is enough time to still be crushing your study program and moving towards and passing exams even during busy season
5:08
So hopefully you find that helpful, whatever of those two situations you're in
5:14
And so that's what I think you can do
