Full Training: https://www.superfastcpa.com/study-secrets/ Learning to use your review course strategically will literally let you spend less time studying each day, while getting better results. In this free training, you'll learn to focus on what you'll be doing on exam day, instead of trying to memorize every word of every video lecture in your review course... which still doesn't work for about half of all CPA candidates. If you're frustrated with your CPA study process, then you just might be making this harder than it needs to be
0:06
For example, when you start a lesson in your review course, you start by watching the video lecture
0:12
Now, let's take a 20 minute video lecture, for example. You start the video, you probably zone out a couple times, you don't understand a few parts, so you restart the video several times
0:23
So what was just a 20 minute video lecture can easily turn into 1-2 actual hours spent
0:29
So you get through the video, then you come down to look through some of the practice questions
0:34
And as you look through the questions, you realize that spending the 1-2 hours on this video still doesn't give you the ability to answer the questions from that lesson
0:43
So at this point, you decide, well, I probably just need to watch the video one more time
0:48
Now, the big and obvious problem with this cycle is you've spent 1-2, maybe even 3 hours messing around with this process before you even get into the most crucial part of the lesson, which is the practice questions
1:03
Now, here's a small secret. On test day, you just need to be able to answer the exam questions that you're going to see
1:11
You're not going to be tested on how well you can watch a video lecture or how well you can highlight a chapter
1:17
I'm Nate with SuperfastCPA, and we help CPA candidates pass their CPA exams by creating a strategic study process that fits into their current daily routine
1:29
For example, the normal study approach, if you visualize these two funnels and from top to bottom, this represents time spent studying
1:39
So the normal approach is based on, okay, here's the video for the lesson
1:43
And as we just illustrated, that might take anywhere from an hour to two hours to get through the video for the lesson
1:49
Then you go through and you highlight the key parts of the chapter, you look through the text, and the smallest portion of your study time is actually spent doing what you'll be doing on exam day
2:01
So that is clearly not the most efficient way of approaching each topic
2:06
Now, what we teach our clients and customers how to do, you still use your same review course
2:10
It really doesn't matter what review course you have, but you spend the majority of your study time doing what you'll be doing on test day with your review course on a daily basis
2:20
And then we have a thing we teach our customers called mini sessions
2:24
That just means doing smaller versions of this as you go about your normal day
2:28
And then you use the videos and the text to fill in the gaps in your understanding as needed
2:34
Instead of making that what you spend most of your time on. Now, if these ideas make sense to you about how this is much more efficient, works better, and allows you to spend less time studying each day while getting better results
2:47
we have a free one hour training where I will walk you through the strategies behind this approach, how to apply this to your current review course
2:55
and specifically how you can study only two hours a day with your review course on weekdays and get more done in one of these two hour sessions than someone studying four to five hours the normal way
3:07
To sign up for one of these free trainings, you can click on the button that's somewhere around this video
3:12
Go to the registration page, choose a time that will work for you, and then do not miss it
3:17
Now, the only downside is, of course, the time. So it takes about an hour for me to walk through exactly how to do this
3:24
However, this one hour training will save you months and months of time and frustration
3:30
Now, a key thing to keep in mind when you're putting in time and effort trying to pass these exams, whether or not your study time is actually effective and will get you a passing score on test day
3:42
either way, it's taking time away from things in your life that you would rather be doing
3:48
So you definitely want to make sure that every hour invested in this process is actually yielding results, that it's high leverage, that it is moving you towards a passing score
3:59
And you're not just wasting that time, again, taking you away from things you'd rather be doing
4:04
Here's a few clips from some of our previous customers who all started by attending the same free training
4:10
I was doing my work and I would keep seeing your videos pop up on YouTube that you advertise that people can be working full time and pass this exam and you can still have a life
4:20
And like it was those three things. And I think that last one was the most important is have a life
4:24
Yeah, the hour training. Yes, the hour training. I signed up for that. I sat down and I listened to this and I got your program and I went on to pass all three of my exams before December
4:36
And so I'm so super thankful. And I told everybody about Superfast
4:41
What you're doing right now, it's not working. Give this a try. Know that sometimes you do feel like you're not doing enough, but God, it works. It works
4:50
I studied about half the time I studied for the others. But, you know, I stuck to the Superfast method. So maybe, maybe it'll work out. And I made a 90
5:00
So it was like 91. I made it 91. That was actually my highest grade. And I was like, well, OK, I guess this method works
5:08
And I said, you know what, I'm going to do that. I'm going to just kind of like embrace the study method. And then I passed. And once I passed FAR, that was my first exam I passed
5:19
I just told myself, like, I'm not going to fail again. Like I know how to pass these now. And I didn't pass the next three in a row
5:25
I owe my CPA license probably to your service. So thank you so much. It helped me more than you probably know
5:31
And then like it was just one after the other. I passed all four of them in three months or so
5:37
It doesn't have to be this weight around your neck. So, yeah, I basically did that for all four tests. And I passed all four of them. Yeah, it was like a super condensed period of time
5:47
I had failed like a bunch of exams, thousands of dollars essentially down the toilet. The study tips, I think, kind of connected the dots for me and made that happen. So pretty sweet
5:57
So again, to register for one of these free trainings, just click the button that's on or below this video and go to the registration page
