But here's what happened. After finishing my master's degree, I had three months before I started my new job in public accounting

My goal was to at least pass FAR in those three months. So I studied the normal way and

I would start a video lecture. After 20 or 30 minutes, I would realize I had zoned out. Then I would skip to skimming the chapter

Then I would stumble through some questions. Then I'd be about an hour into my study session and I would think

okay, I've accomplished nothing. I'm just gonna write this day off. I'm gonna regroup and hit this hard again tomorrow

Then the next day, essentially the same thing would happen again. So I struggled through my study sessions for three months like this and then took my first test and I scored a 74

But while I was taking the test and saw the exam in person

I had several aha moments about my study process. So I went back to the drawing board and added some of my own ideas to my study process and in the next three months

I passed all four sections all within a three month window. Here's my NASBA score sheet for proof
