So this CPA study tip is about your preferred learning style in the CPA exams
0:05
So I get asked this a lot. If my learning style is X
0:09
what's the best way for me to study? So to answer that question, let's first think about exam day
0:14
I think everybody understands that if you can't go in and answer the multiple
0:18
choice questions and the simulations to the point that you get a 75
0:23
you're not going to pass the exam on test day. So working backwards from that
0:27
regardless of what your preferred learning style is, you need to learn how to dissect reverse engineer and make sense of practice
0:37
questions and solutions. You just need to have that skill of learning from the questions
0:44
making sense of questions, how to figure out questions. There's a lot of these little nuances that emerge when you spend most of your
0:52
study time doing what you'll be doing on test day. Now, on the other hand
0:56
if you're spending the majority of your study time watching video lectures
1:00
highlighting the chapter, reading the textbook, you know, that's better than nothing
1:05
but you're kidding yourself to a degree because that stuff can feel like you're
1:11
putting in study time. But if that is not translating to you being able to answer the questions and
1:18
getting them right, even if it's presented differently on test day, you are far
1:22
far ahead to spend most of your time doing exactly what you'll be doing on test
1:27
day, which is getting good at answering multiple choice questions and simulations. And that is a skill
1:34
So the key takeaway is regardless of what your learning style is
1:38
you need to get good at answering multiple choice questions and simulations
1:44
And there really isn't another way of doing that besides just spending most of
1:49
your study time doing that exact thing. So the reality is there are a bunch of highly effective study strategies or
1:58
these little tweaks, little ways of doing some of these common strategies slightly differently that
2:04
yield much better results. So we have a free training webinar where we go through the six key ingredients
2:13
of a highly successful study process. So when you're applying these much more effective study strategies compared to
2:21
the normal way of doing things, what you're doing is you're just layering advantages together and it honestly
2:28
makes it hard to go wrong. So specifically in this free training
2:32
the six strategies that we will walk you through, if you were doing all six of those things correctly throughout your study
2:39
process on a daily and weekly basis, it is honestly hard to go wrong when you're doing all six of these throughout
2:48
your whole process. In other words, this free training, it's one hour that will literally save you months and months of time and
2:56
frustration and likely hundreds if not thousands of dollars on retaking exam
3:02
fees. So to see the upcoming times, you can click on the link that's either on or below this video
