This is how to get used to getting up early to do that morning study session

Once you get used to getting up early to study, you'll never go back and you will be getting

much better results. You'll also enjoy each day much more because throughout the workday, you don't have to

dread a three to four hour study session waiting for you and have to sit and stay at the office

and try to grind through that. You will have gotten the worst thing out of the way first thing in the morning before

you even leave the house. So you will have more energy and mental focus at work and it makes the whole process go

much smoother and much less stressful. So here's the foundation for making this work

First of all, you need to get to bed and go to sleep

You want to limit your Netflix, your phone scrolling, whatever it is you do at night

Limit that to a certain time and by a certain time, shut everything off and focus on sleep

Also if this helps you, go and upgrade your pillows or sheets, your comforter to make

your bed more comfortable. To get up and have a successful study session in the morning, it starts the night before

You've got to be fairly obsessed with your goal of passing the exams because you're constantly

planning and making sure you're on track. You know, if you failed a section, it shouldn't be that hard to find this kind of motivation

That's what happened with me. And so I made sure that I was covering all my bases so that the number one thing for

me each day was getting my morning study session and making sure that was a success because

that set the tone for the rest of the day. Then of course I would study from my phone throughout the rest of the day, but that's

for another video. So the second thing is find an alarm that works

You might be able to just use a normal alarm and that's great. A lot of people feel like they literally can't wake up before 6.30 or 6

And there are alarm apps out there. Things like the alarm will go off and it won't shut off until you've picked up your phone

and physically walked around for a minute. So find something like that if that's what it takes

You only need to do really four or five days in a row. Those few days before you fall asleep, you just tell yourself, when this alarm goes off

I will get up no matter what, no matter what I feel like

If you're into caffeine, then have your favorite caffeinated drink. Just remember that you'll feel fine once you sit down and kind of wake up, even if you

feel like you're dying when that alarm first goes off. And finally, I kind of mentioned this, this was really big for me, making this part of

a ritual. Stock your favorite drink, whatever that is, some fancy coffee blend or your favorite tea

For me it was Red Bull. Don't ever really buy it because it's so expensive and energy drinks are so bad for you

This became something that I actually looked forward to every morning because I was getting

better results. I felt better about the process. Just made a huge difference

It set the tone for my day. I got that big session out of the way before I even left the house

The bottom line here is that you want to set things up so that this becomes a morning ritual

that you look forward to. It's nice and silent in the morning

You get to have your drink. You sit down. As you start making progress, you will enjoy this morning study session

You'll almost miss it after you pass all four sections. Maybe not, but a little bit
