So the problems with the normal way of CPA study
0:03
See, I have mastery written here. And these are your lessons in your review course
0:08
So the normal way of studying is, of course, you just go in and you work through the lessons one by one
0:14
One, two, three. Let's say you're working on FAR. And if you look at the AI CPA blueprints, it literally covers 200 topics
0:23
So you've got more or less 200 topics to cover when you're working on FAR
0:28
So for each lesson, you try to feel like you've mastered it or you have a really good understanding of the lesson
0:36
So the way that most people do that is they start by watching the video lecture, then they read the chapter, then they try to work through the practice problems
0:45
Now, the first issue is that takes a lot of time, right
0:52
You watch the video, it might take you two or three attempts, maybe you zone out, maybe you just
0:58
watch the whole video feel like you didn't understand it. So you go back, you watch the video more or less like twice or maybe even three times
1:06
Then you read the chapter. Then you come to the practice problems
1:11
So this whole process takes a lot of time. It takes a lot of time to really feel good about the content from a lesson
1:18
Now the second issue you will run into is that watching videos does not equal the ability to answer
1:28
questions. And you've probably experienced this. It's what I just said. So you can watch the video two or three times
1:37
feel really good about what's in the video. Then you get to the practice problems and realize
1:42
okay, apparently once it comes to a question format, I really don know how to do these questions So at that point you might go back to the video for a fourth time or you might look through the chapter to try to find the key pieces of information
1:57
But it's this struggle, and that's the point. So it takes all this time, and you go through
2:02
lesson by lesson, one by one, and here's the third problem. The third problem is you get to the
2:11
end of your study timeline to your final review. and you realize looking back, you've forgotten huge portions of all this stuff that you spent so much time study
2:27
So you spent all this time going through all the content and you realize that you've forgotten huge portions of everything you've studied
2:36
And so forgetting all this stuff that you spent so much time on, that equals time wasted
2:44
And if you fail the section, what else does that equal? That equals money that you have lost by paying for the exam
2:55
you know, just paying for your review course. Also, time is money
3:00
Just, it's a big waste, right? Okay, so let's go back to the free training I mentioned
3:05
So instead of the process we just discussed, where you try to master each lesson up front
3:10
but then you don't look back at anything, with our approach, what you're going to learn
3:14
this training is how to move through material faster the first time. So a much quicker way of going
3:21
through each lesson up front. And you're not trying to master it the first time through. Because what
3:26
you're going to do is you're also going to reserve a portion of your daily study session, even though
3:31
it's only two hours a day, you're going to save a portion of that to constantly go back and
3:37
re all the information you covered from other lessons So that as time goes on as time goes on like this you are getting better and better at all the content instead of spending all this time and effort up front
3:52
and then slowly forgetting all those things that you learned and studied
3:56
So with this approach, you're planting the seeds is what we call it
4:00
And we'll show you exactly how that works in the free training. You're planting the seeds
4:04
Then you have a portion of your day that is constant re-review. And again, it's a simple process that's a lot easier
4:13
It takes less time than what you're trying to do now. But the big benefit is what I just explained
4:18
You're constantly reheating all the things you've previously studied. And then the general ideas behind studying to pass versus trying to learn it all
4:29
So this idea, and again, we will get into the details of what this means specifically as far as the study process
4:36
but what you're going to do on test day is you're going to get multiple choice questions
4:41
and practice simulations. Now it sounds really obvious to say it like that, but when you realize that that's your key
4:49
objective is being able to answer the questions that you're going to see on test day
4:53
you would study a lot differently than the way your review course presents information
4:59
So we're going to teach you how to use your review course much more effectively and much
5:03
more efficiently to study to pass, to be able to do what you need to do on test day to pass
5:11
And then the fourth thing is the backdrop for all of this information that we're going to
5:17
present to you on the training is the six key ingredients to a winning study routine
5:23
Because think about this. If you're going to put in months of effort, hours a day of studying, hundreds and thousands
5:30
of dollars to take these exams and try to pass these exams what the what the one thing that you want to make sure that your process does for you You want certainty You want to be certain that all this time and effort and money is going to pay off
5:47
that you're going to be able to get passing scores. So on this training, we're going to show you the six key ingredients that if you're doing
5:55
these six things, it's honestly hard to fail your exams. when you know and you're aware of these six things as you go throughout the study process
6:05
if you're doing these six things correctly, which again, we're going to show you how to do that
6:09
on the training, it's honestly going to be hard to fail your exams
6:14
Now, I know I'm really pumping up the things you're going to learn on this free training
6:18
but I promise you we will deliver on all these things we've covered because we're going to
6:22
get into the specifics of how this all works. You're going to know exactly what to do when you sit down to study each day
6:29
and not only that, exactly how the study process needs to be working as the weeks go by as you get closer to your exam
6:36
Now, if it all sounds too good to be true, I would just say it's a free webinar, sign up for a session, watch the first 10 to 20 minutes
6:45
and if the stuff we're covering doesn't immediately make sense to you, then you know, you can close it and leave at any time
6:51
So again, to register for one of these free trainings, just click anywhere on this video or the button below the video, go to the registration page
6:59
Just choose an upcoming time that will work for you where you'll be able to sit and pay attention
7:03
because we cover a lot. We cover a lot in this one hour. But it's going to be incredibly helpful for you
7:10
What I always tell people is this is one hour that will literally save you months and months of time and frustration
7:17
And again, the six key ingredients. Just being aware of what those are will help you immensely as you go throughout your study process
7:25
So register for one of the sessions and I will see you on the training
