So I passed my CPA exams in three months and I would only study two hours a day with my main review course
0:07
Now, the secret or the asterisk to that is that I studied from my phone all the time
0:13
So every single time, all the little three to five minute chunks throughout my day or whenever I was in my car, I'd be listening to audio notes
0:21
Every time you open your phone or you get a text from your friend, you just force yourself to do a quick quiz first or you read a few pages in the review notes
0:30
You can get study tools that you can access from your phone and all the little three to five minute chunks in your day
0:36
You just take advantage of all those little gaps in your day and that can easily add an extra two to three hours of study time on top of your main study sessions
0:47
So my big argument for this besides the fact that it works so well is why wouldn't you do this
0:54
You have already committed thousands of dollars, especially when you count your likely to
0:59
two college degrees or the equivalent just to be able to take these exams. You've committed all that
1:05
time and energy it took you to get those degrees and then the CPA study process itself. Why would you
1:11
not give yourself every possible advantage or every possible chance at getting a passing score
1:16
the first time on each exam so that you don't have to do retakes, you don't have to pay extra exam fees
1:22
but most of all so that you get these exams over with as fast as possible. So the idea is very, very
1:29
simple. It's also extremely easy to do once you just get used to it. So the first step is just to
1:36
accept that idea that okay every time that I would normally look at my phone and check the news or scroll social media for a few minutes I going to trade that out for a few months with just
1:49
extra CPA study. So that's step one. Just accept that you're going to do that. And then step two is to
1:55
just start doing it until it has become a habit, because then you just don't even have to think about it
1:59
It's second nature. Every time you open your phone or you get a text from your friend, you just force
2:05
yourself to do a quick quiz first or you read a few pages in the review notes. Whenever you're in
2:10
your car, you're listening to the audios. The best time to listen to audios is in the mornings when you're
2:16
getting ready. So here are the two logical reasons why this works so well. And first is just a
2:21
function of study time. So you have your main study sessions, whatever that is. So maybe it's two or
2:28
three or four hours a day that you sit in front of your review course and study. Then you
2:32
implement this idea of mini sessions, and this can easily add up to an extra two to three hours a day
2:39
of very high quality study time. So if your main sessions would have totaled up to two to three hundred
2:46
hours over six to eight weeks, and then you add in an extra 80 to 150 hours of this mini session
2:54
time over six to eight weeks, an extra 100 to 150 hours of study time can only logically
3:01
improve your scores on test day. Now the second reason, when you go through the lessons in your
3:06
review course or your main study sessions, you're essentially covering the information twice
3:12
or you're covering each topic twice. Once as you work through each lesson along the way
3:17
and then once again in your final review Now for most people people get to their final review and they feel like they forgotten most of the stuff they studied over the previous six weeks So the final review becomes this frantic attempt
3:30
to relearn everything. But regardless, under that traditional approach, you're basically just covering
3:36
each topic twice. Now, when you implement this idea of mini sessions or studying from your phone
3:41
and you work your way through the audio notes, the review notes, you're constantly taking
3:47
quizzes across all the different topics, you're going to end up hitting all the topics 20 to 30
3:53
times versus two times. So it's obvious which one is going to work better. Or it's obvious why
4:00
this idea of mini sessions and studying from your phone works so much better in addition to your
4:06
main study sessions. So again, if you're going to go to the time and effort and cost of
4:12
studying for and taking these exams, it only makes logical sense to, take
4:17
give yourself every possible advantage, which means taking advantage of every possible extra spare
4:24
minute that you can spend study. And I will fully admit, it might not be fun to take quizzes or
4:30
read review notes every time you have a spare second on your phone. But after a few weeks of doing
4:36
this, you will feel much more in control of the material and your confidence of you passing
4:42
will be very high. And there's a lot of satisfaction that comes from that
4:47
just feeling like you're in control of the study process and the material and just feeling like you know that you're going to go in there and pass the exams
4:55
Versus the anxiety and worry of a somewhat ineffective study routine and in your mind it a toss up if you going to pass or not So the reality is there are a bunch of highly effective study strategies or these little tweaks little ways of doing some of these common
5:16
strategies slightly differently that yield much better results. So we have a free training webinar
5:23
where we go through the six key ingredients of a highly successful study process. So when you're
5:30
applying these much more effective study strategies compared to the normal way of doing things
5:37
what you're doing is you're just layering advantages together. And it honestly makes it hard to go
5:42
wrong. So specifically in this free training, the six strategies that we will walk you through
5:49
if you are doing all six of those things correctly throughout your study process on a daily
5:55
and weekly basis, it is honestly hard to go wrong when you're doing all six of those things correctly
6:00
of these throughout your whole process. In other words, this free training, it's one hour that will
6:07
literally save you months and months of time and frustration and likely hundreds, if not thousands
6:13
of dollars on retaking exam fees. So to see the upcoming times, you can click on the link
