Washington, United States - September 03, 2026 Powerful storms brought strong winds and heavy rain to the D.C. area Thursday night, leaving downed trees, blocked roads and damaged homes and vehicles across the District. Winds reached up to 70 mph in the District, with a 64 mph wind gust reported at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
