US, Phoenix: Phoenix 5 Hospitalized In I-10 Rollover Ejection Crash.

Phoenix, United States - August 29, 2026 08/29/2026 02:40 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers and fire crews from the cities of Phoenix and Tolleson responded to reports of a rollover crash on I-10 near 83rd Avenue. According to DPS officials at the scene, troopers arrived to find one vehicle rolled onto its side on the left shoulder of the eastbound lanes under 83rd Avenue. A second vehicle was located on the left shoulder of the westbound lanes just west of 83rd Avenue. At least one occupant was ejected from the rolled vehicle. The occupant was found unresponsive in the eastbound lanes. A total of five people were transported to local area hospitals. (three critical, two stable) Troopers established multiple lane closures for the eastbound I-10, restricting eastbound traffic to the rightmost travel lane. Troopers also established a closure for the westbound HOV lane. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the collision.
