US, Phoenix: Glendale United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Luke Air Force Base.

Phoenix, United States - July 21, 2026 07/20/2026 08:46 pm GMT-0700 GLENDALE, Ariz. – United Airlines Flight 2078 was forced to make an emergency landing at Luke Air Force Base on Monday evening. The flight departed from George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, around 7:53 p.m. Central Daylight Time, heading to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. For unknown reasons, the aircraft declared an emergency while over the Phoenix Metropolitan area and landed at Luke Air Force Base at approximately 8:45 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Emergency personnel were observed on the runway placing boarding stairs at the front of the plane as passengers exited to waiting shuttle buses.
