US, Los Angeles: Lancaster 2000 Acre Wildfire Prompts Evacuations.

Los Angeles, United States - June 05, 2026 06/05/2026 02:34 PM GMT-0700 Lancaster – A wildfire is burning near a west Lancaster community. The fire was reported this afternoon near 110th Street West and Highway 138. It rapidly grew to approximately 2,000 acres, prompting firefighters and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies to evacuate many nearby residents. The fire has spread into Kern County and is currently 31% contained.
