US, Los Angeles: Granada Hills Water Main Break Floods School Classrooms.

Los Angeles, United States - July 15, 2026 07/14/2026 08:30 PM GMT-0700 GRANADA HILLS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A broken water main caused significant flooding at Knollwood Preparatory Academy on the 11800 block of Gerald Avenue. The incident affected two classrooms in a second-story building, which were completely flooded. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to assist with removing the water. In addition to the flooding, rocks and debris were scattered across various areas of the school, including the playground. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the valve to the water main was shut off.
