US, Dallas: Dallas Vehicle Vs Pedestrian On Hwy 114.

Dallas, United States - May 20, 2026 05/19/2026 10:05 pm GMT-0500 DALLAS, Texas. – Dallas police and fire officials responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian incident on the freeway on 114 near the 183 transition. Upon arrival, first responders found one pedestrian down in the main lanes. CPR was initiated on the victim. It is unclear if the victim was transported to a hospital or declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on the scene and is cooperating with officers. All eastbound lanes of John W. Carpenter Highway are closed for an unknown duration while the Dallas Police Department investigates the incident.
