UK: Terror Suspect Arrested After Stabbing Of Two Jewish Men In London.

London, United Kingdom - April 29, 2026 Body-worn camera footage has been released showing police using Tasers to detain a terror suspect following the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green. The Metropolitan Police video shows a 45-year-old Somali-born British national holding a knife as he advanced towards officers. Two officers discharged Tasers, causing the suspect, who was wearing a blue puffer jacket and carrying a rucksack, to fall to the ground. Officers can be heard shouting commands including “get down on the ground” and “take the Taser”. After the suspect collapsed, one officer knelt on him while another continued to use a Taser, as additional officers surrounded the scene. An officer repeatedly shouted “drop the knife” and “drop the f****** knife” while the suspect struggled on the roadway. The suspect was pinned face down in the middle of the road. A plain-clothed man, believed to be part of a Jewish community security team, then removed the knife from his hand. He was handcuffed behind his back while still on the ground and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Following the release of the footage, Green Party leader Zack Polanski shared a social media post criticising police conduct. The post alleged officers were “repeatedly and violently kicking a mentally ill man in the head” after he had been incapacitated by a Taser. The police watchdog has confirmed it has not received a referral regarding the nature of the arrest.
