VARIOUS OF SIGNING CEREMONY ATTENDED BY QUEEN MATHILDE OF BELGIUM AND TURKISH AUTHORITIES ISTANBUL, TÜRKİYE - MAY 11, 2026: An official signing ceremony was held on Monday, May 11, between Turkish and Belgian companies with the participation of Queen Mathilde of Belgium during the country's economic mission visit to Türkiye. Agreements were signed in sectors including food, technology, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and education. Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat and Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas attended the ceremony as well as other guests. Türkiye and Belgium are set to explore new avenues of cooperation across key sectors, including defense and energy, during a high-level economic mission led by Belgium’s Queen Mathilde from May 10 to 14. The delegation is expected to hold extensive economic and trade talks covering areas such as energy, defense industries, logistics connectivity, and transportation.
