VARIOUS OF PARALAUDAKIA CAUCASIA ON ROCK IGDIR, TÜRKİYE - JULY 1, 2026: Considered one of the more elusive reptile species in the wild, a Caucasian agama (Paralaudakia caucasia) was filmed basking on rocky outcrops in its natural habitat in the eastern Turkish city of Igdir on Wednesday, July 1. The species is known to inhabit the Caucasus and Türkiye's Eastern Anatolia region, where it can also be found among the lava rock formations on the slopes of Mount Ararat.
