VARIOUS OF PROTESTERS HOLDING BANNERS / CHANTING SLOGANSTUNIS, TUNISIA - SEPTEMBER 5, 2026: Hundreds of Tunisians protested living conditions and restrictions on freedom of expression during a demonstration called by the opposition Nafas movement. Protesters gathered in the capital, Tunis, chanting slogans including “The game is over, resign,” and criticizing what they described as the lack of justice, shortages of electricity and water, rising prices and restrictions on freedoms. The country has also been experiencing drinking water cuts, while access to bottled water, widely consumed especially in the capital and other major cities, has become increasingly difficult.
