Taron Egerton feared movie fans wouldn't root for his 'idiotic' character.

The British actor plays Adam Samuels, an art gallery employee who uses a carefully crafted 'nice guy' persona to seduce women before discarding them, in the new dark comedy-thriller Everybody Wants to F**k Me. During an interview with Collider, Egerton recalled struggling to ensure audiences would sympathise with Adam, despite his behaviour. "It's always a bit of a balancing act, particularly with a character like Adam, because he does challenge an audience a lot, and he is somebody that is quite difficult to root for at times," the star explained.
