VARIOUS OF SYRIAN CIVIL DEFENSE TEAMS AT SCENEDAMASCUS, SYRIA - JUL. 2: Several people were injured after an explosion struck a cafe along the route leading to the historic Hamidiye Market in Syria's capital, Damascus, on Thursday, July 2. The blast occurred at the entrance of the cafe, located between the Hejaz Railway station and the Palace of Justice, according to initial information. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Images shared on social media showed damage to the cafe and injured people in the surrounding area following the explosion. Syrian authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the cause of the blast.
