Faye attended the inauguration of the facility established by Turkish company AVCI Global in the Diamniadio Special Economic Zone, alongside Türkiye's Ambassador to Senegal Dilsad Kirbasli Karaoglu and company officials. The Senegalese leader toured the site, met employees and received briefings on production activities. Speaking at the ceremony, Faye said the investment reflected Senegal's efforts to revive manufacturing, strengthen its industrial base and support long-term economic development. The facility is expected to create around 200 direct jobs and contribute to economic activity in one of the country's key industrial zones.
