Poland: Bird Imitation Championship Held in Warsaw.

Warsaw, Poland - September 11, 2026 Contestants imitate the calls of wild birds during the third Polish Bird Imitation Championship at Bar Studio on Plac Defilad in Warsaw, Poland on September 11, 2026. The contest, organized by the Polish Society for Bird Protection and the "Krajobraz" Regional Society, drew large crowds near the Palace of Culture and Science as twenty finalists — chosen from video submissions — took turns replicating hoots, whistles and warbles of wild bird species found in Poland. Irena Rosiewicz took first place, notably for her imitation of the common rosefinch.
