The singer revealed on Tuesday that her eighth studio album titled Petal will be released on 31 July. She also shared the cover art. The reveal comes after TMZ reported earlier this month that the 7 Rings singer had finished a new album and planned to release it "around summertime.” The outlet noted that the pop star was "super excited" for the upcoming release. In a statement following her album announcement, Grande described the upcoming LP as "something that is full of life and growing through the cracks of something cold and hard and challenging."
