The field work took place at a site in Zapopan, which is part of the Guadalajara metropolitan area in Jalisco, Mexico. In addition to the Zapopan site, the group members participated in a search operation at abandoned houses located in the Hacienda de Santa Fe neighborhood of Tlajomulco.
