DAMAGED VEHICLE TYRE, LEBANON - MAY 23: Fresh Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon on Saturday, May 23, killed at least five people and caused extensive damage to a prominent hospital in the southern port city of Tyre, according to Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA). The attacks in Lebanon's southern Tyre district also destroyed a house and killed four other people. Israeli raids also caused extensive damage to the Hiram Hospital in Tyre. More than 3,000 have been killed, and 1.6 million displaced in the latest Israeli assaults in Lebanon that started on March 2, soon after Hezbollah's retaliation to the Iran war, according to Lebanese officials. Israeli attacks continue despite a US-mediated ceasefire that remains in effect till early July.
