In a message posted to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the Argentine actress-model announced that she and the Colombian singer had broken up. "After sharing so many years and important moments together, José and I have decided to go our separate ways,. It has been a decision made out of love, respect, and the desire to do the best for our family." Balvin, born José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, and Ferrer started dating in 2018. The former Miss Argentina winner co-starred in the music video for the superstar's 2016 song, Sigo Extrañándote. They welcomed a son, Rio, in June 2021.
