Jesolo, Italy - August 31, 2026 A yacht caught fire off the Faro di Jesolo on Monday, 31 August 2026, with firefighters responding to the blaze from 6:30 p.m. The 10 people aboard the yacht were evacuated by the Coast Guard. Firefighters from the Venice Maritime Fire Brigade station are at the scene, joined by divers from the regional unit based in Mestre. A helicopter from the Venice flight department is also taking part in the operation, working to extinguish the fire from above.
