Israeli Strike Hits Gaza Home 2.

Gaza - October 08, 2026 Palestinians gather at the site of a strike on a residential home in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, Gaza Strip, on October 8, 2026. A woman and a child were killed and 10 other people were wounded in the strike, according to officials at Shifa and Al-Ahli hospitals. The attack followed an evacuation warning issued before the house was hit, while local accounts said some residents had not yet been able to leave the building when the strike occurred. Ambulance crews, rescue workers and residents searched the damaged property and transferred the wounded to hospitals as recovery operations continued. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the Gaza City evacuation order or say what was targeted in the strike.
