Multiple projectiles were visible over the city during the attack amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel. The Israeli military said sirens sounded across parts of northern Israel following two consecutive waves of missile fire and that air defense systems were activated to intercept incoming threats. The attack came hours after an Israeli strike in Beirut.
