India: Three women distract jeweller, third suspect steals bag carrying $2,621 cash, jewellery worth $9,984.

Occurred on August 8, 2026 / Mehsana, Gujarat, India. Info: Sanman Jewellers owner Prakash Dashrathlal Patel reported theft of a bag containing ₹2.50 lakh cash and gold and silver jewellery worth around ₹7.02 lakh. Three women allegedly entered the shop posing as customers and distracted Patel’s 85-year-old father before stealing the bag. CCTV footage captured the incident.
