India: Stomach-churning moment as cobra regurgitates nine chicken eggs during dramatic rescue.

A cobra stunned rescuers after it regurgitated nine eggs, pushing them out of its mouth one by one, during a dramatic rescue. The incident took place in Garbada village, Dahod district, in northern India's Gujarat, on September 6. Visuals show the cobra being carefully rescued from inside the hut. The snake is then seen bringing the swallowed eggs back out through its mouth, one by one, creating the most striking moment of the rescue. Speaking to Newslions, rescuer Raju Bil Himath Singh said the snake had entered a hut, where it bit and killed two chickens before swallowing nine eggs. He said he received information about the snake and reached the spot at around 8 am. He spent nearly an hour searching for the cobra inside the hut before successfully locating and safely rescuing it. Raju Damor has been involved in animal rescues since 2017. He has rescued snakes, leopards and other animals. His experience helped ensure that the cobra was handled carefully and without causing further stress. Rescuers kept a safe distance while monitoring the snake as it regurgitated the eggs. Following the rescue, the cobra was safely released into a forest area, away from human habitation.
